Overview
In this role you work on the embedded Bluetooth software platform powering Sonova devices, shaping architecture from concept to launch. You join early in product development and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software for headphones and soundbars. You will tackle stability, performance, and reliability challenges across the platform, while contributing to future product innovations. This is a hands-on platform role with clear impact on product quality and market readiness.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design and implement embedded application software for wireless headphones and soundbars
- Integrate software into complete product solutions with DSP, electronics, mobile apps, and system test teams
- Translate requirements into technical solutions and coordinate activities across the platform
- Troubleshoot and enhance stability, performance, and reliability of the embedded platform
- Contribute to innovation topics shaping future products throughout the development cycle
- Support feasibility studies, technical reviews, and early pre-development projects
- Improve software development methods, tools, and processes
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Strong C programming skills and experience with real-time embedded development
- Several years of embedded SW development, design, or testing
- Ability to read electrical schematics and understand hardware interactions
- Strong communicator and team player with collaborative mindset
- Knowledge of Bluetooth or IEEE 802.x protocols (a plus)
- English required; German a plus
- Experience with Python for developing and maintaining test and developer tools
