In this role, you will ensure effective people leadership, oversee site operations, and drive innovation in collaboration with key stakeholders. Working closely with the Technical Director, you will contribute to shaping the future of R&D within our organization. of excellence, we invite you to join us.Key responsibilitiesSite Leadership:Represent and manage the Berlin site, ensuring alignment with Sonova’s strategic goals.Drive workforce planning and ensure the team meets business needs.Build and maintain key relationships with stakeholders at our global headquarters in Stäfa.Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, ensuring smooth communication and information flow across the organization.Operational Excellence:Oversee local processes, ensuring efficient development workflows integrated within the larger R&D framework.Manage site operations within the allocated budget (3-5 million EUR).Contribute to organizational development and lead change initiatives.Oversee asset management, including infrastructure, equipment, and IT resources.People Leadership:Promote and embody company culture, values, and leadership principles.Coach and develop employees, fostering talent growth and retention.Build a high-performance culture by attracting, retaining, and developing top-tier talent.Set objectives, manage performance, and ensure mandatory training for team members.Actively manage conflicts and nurture a culture of innovation and creativity.About youQualifications:A university degree in Engineering or Science is essential.Education in Leadership or Business Administration is a plus.Experience:At least 5 years of experience leading interdisciplinary teams in an R&D environment.Proven expertise in project management; experience in AI development is an advantage.Skills & Competencies:Strong self-motivation, reliability, and a systematic yet creative approach to problem-solving.Flexible and accountable, with a mindset for innovation and continuous improvement.Exceptional interpersonal skills, including empathy, effective communication, and a team-oriented attitude.Leadership qualities including conflict resolution, coaching, and leading through change.Language Requirements:Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.Proficiency in German is a plus.Why Join Us?At Audatic, you’ll be part of a global organization dedicated to improving lives through innovative hearing solutions.
