As an Operational Purchasing Specialist, you’ll be part of our Global Supply Planning team – a key function that connects operations, sales, and product management. You’ll ensure the reliable availability of products across our global supply chain, keeping a close eye on inventory, supplier performance, and delivery timelines.

More about the role:
- Manage operative purchasing activities for a defined product portfolio – from order placement to supplier communication
- Coordinate product availability across global warehouses and support new product launches
- Collaborate closely with strategic purchasing to ensure pricing and component availability
- Maintain item and master data and ensure accuracy in supplier delivery information within the ERP system
- Partner with logistics teams on freight and delivery coordination
- Conduct regular supply and inventory reviews, providing key data for decision-making and KPIs
- Continuously seek opportunities to optimize purchasing processes and reduce costs
More about you:
- Completed commercial training with a focus on business administration, supply chain, or similar (e.g., APICS, CSCP, CTSC, CPIM)
- 2–5 years of experience in operational purchasing or supply planning, ideally in an international environment
- Strong command of German and English (written and spoken)
- High level of accuracy, reliability, and organizational skills
- Experienced in working with ERP systems (preferably JDE, Futurmaster, or SAP)
- Excellent communication skills and intercultural competence – able to collaborate across teams and functions
- Confident user of Microsoft Office 365
- Positive mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
