Overview
In this role you take technical ownership of the Charging Solutions domain, shaping the platform architecture and guiding development and suppliers. You design scalable charging architectures spanning electronics and embedded software and ensure smooth integration with mechanical components. You translate stakeholder needs into robust, reusable solutions while balancing functionality, performance, and maintainability. You’ll review architectures and code, with hands-on programming a minority of time, and drive architectural decisions across the development chain. This role suits you if you want to influence medical-device charging technology within a collaborative, cross-functional team.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- own the Charging Solutions domain architecture and prioritization across teams and suppliers
- design charging architectures spanning electronics and embedded software and ensure integration with mechanical components
- define reusable platform elements and interfaces between chargers, hearing instruments, production software and application software
- translate customer, system and stakeholder needs into balanced, robust solutions
- review electronic schematics, embedded software architecture and code with hands-on programming (10–20% of role)
- collaborate with external suppliers and influence architectural decisions throughout the development chain
- make sound technical decisions in complex or uncertain situations ensuring compliance with medical-device, cybersecurity and privacy requirements
- document and communicate architectural decisions and promote best practices across teams
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems or related technical discipline
- at least five years of professional experience in hardware and/or embedded software development, including hands-on charging solutions experience
- strong knowledge of electrical hardware and electronic schematics, plus understanding of embedded software architecture and code review
- experience designing complex hardware–software systems and managing dependencies across electronics, software, mechanics and connected applications
- pragmatic and decisive approach with ability to navigate uncertainty and drive solutions
- proven ability to lead cross-functional technical groups and influence stakeholders and suppliers
- strong communication and negotiation skills; professional fluency in English
