Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design, develop, and optimize battery and power management systems for hearing instruments and charging solutions
- Specify, integrate, and validate PMICs and power conversion architectures for rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries
- Define and implement battery management algorithms and power strategies (State of Charge, State of Health, charging behavior, protection, energy optimization)
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to ensure robust integration of power functions into device architectures
- Develop and validate electrical and system-level models for power consumption, load profiles, and battery behavior
- Analyze and debug complex power-related system issues, performing root-cause analysis
- Contribute to continuous improvement of power management platforms, methods, and processes, and monitor emerging technologies
- Evaluate emerging power management technologies to support future products
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Master in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (minimum)
- Experience designing power management systems for low-power embedded devices including DC/DC conversion, load switches, charging circuits, and energy-efficient architectures
- Knowledge of rechargeable and non-rechargeable battery technologies and system-level behavior, load profiling, power consumption, and battery aging
- Hands-on electrical characterization, laboratory measurements, and data-driven validation of power systems
- Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis, automation, and model development
- MATLAB experience is a plus
- Experience optimizing ultra-low-power systems under strict energy and size constraints is an asset
- Experience debugging complex power-related issues in low-power applications and charging systems is an asset
- Structured, proactive, and quality-conscious with collaborative mindset in distributed teams
