Overview
In this role you will lead the development and integration of signal processing features for Sonova’s RIC and BTE hearing systems, driving scalable, product-ready software across global platforms. You will provide technical and people leadership to deliver high-quality DSP-based solutions while aligning cross-domain teams with product strategy. You’ll collaborate with Product Management and Project Leaders to ensure market success, and mentor a team of software professionals to foster talent and succession. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead development, design and integration of signal processing features for Sonova hearing systems
- Provide technical leadership and decision-making authority for signal processing realization
- Drive reuse, scalability, and product readiness across platforms, products, and brands
- Establish cross-domain alignment and decision making across departments
- Collaborate with Product Management and Project Leaders to ensure customer focus and market success
- Lead, develop and manage a team of software professionals, supporting talent development and succession planning
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field
- Proven leadership experience in software development and people leadership within complex R&D environments
- Extensive experience delivering software features across multiple platforms, generations, and releases
- Strong understanding of DSP, system integration, fitting software systems, and regulated product development
- Ability to lead through ambiguity while balancing innovation, scalability, quality, and long-term value
- Strong, confident communicator with soft skills for leadership and collaboration with technical, audiological, and business stakeholders
- Experience working in international, multi-site, and cross-functional environments
- Curious about emerging technologies, particularly AI
