As an Enterprise Software Account Executive at Sopheon, you will play a crucial role in driving new business development and revenue growth. Your primary focus will be on generating sales opportunities, leveraging Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot to identify and engage with new potential customers. You will be responsible for 1- to 2-hours of business development per day using all channels available to build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads, nurturing relationships, and closing high-value deals.
Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Drive the acquisition of new enterprise customers by proactively prospecting, qualifying leads, and generating first-time meetings using phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, centers of influence, and marketing lead conversion.
- Pipeline Management: Consistently maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, aiming for 15+ open opportunities worth $10,000,000+ in revenue at any given time.
- Consultative Sales Strategy: Effectively execute enterprise sales strategies & tactics to maximize revenue generation and achieve or exceed sales targets using the MEDDPICC framework.
- Business Acumen: Effectively identify the business case & potential set of solutions from Sopheon's products and services, aligning them with customer requirements and pain points.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, pre-sales, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful deal closure.
- Sales Technology Utilization: Utilize Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot to track and manage sales activities, maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information, and drive efficient sales processes.
- Growth Mindset: Act in a way that is assertive, not aggressive, always seeking to improve yourself & those around you, knowing that you're good today, but to succeed tomorrow requires continued growth.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience in new business development, preferably in enterprise software or technology solutions.
- Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets, with a focus on high-value deals and complex sales cycles.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the enterprise software market, specifically in the areas of innovation management, product lifecycle management, or related fields, is desirable.
- Self-Motivated: Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Sales Technology Proficiency: Experience using Salesforce.com (or similar CRM), ZoomInfo (or other prospecting tools), and HubSpot (or other marketing automation tools) to drive sales activities and pipeline management.
- Pipeline Management: Proven ability to manage a robust sales pipeline and effectively prioritize and qualify opportunities.
- Average Deal Size: Experience closing deals with an average deal size of over $100,000, ranging from $100,000 to $4,000,000.
- Meeting Targets: Ability to book 3 to 5 first-time meetings per week and consistently maintain a pipeline of 15 or more open opportunities.
