• hotel has 241 rooms and suites. This establishment is seeking a highly skilled employee to lead the financial operations and drive the hotel’s success: Director of Finance

MISSIONS:

The Director of Finance will oversee all financial activities, ensuring compliance, strategic financial planning, and operational efficiency through the following activities and tasks:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize profitability and cost efficiency
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in line with regulatory standards
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulations, and international financial standards
• Manage financial risks and develop strategies to enhance financial sustainability
• Supervise and lead the finance team, providing mentorship and performance management
• Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies
• Optimize cash flow management and financial controls
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support business expansion and revenue growth

PROFILE:

• Proven experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Prior experience working in African markets is required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance in Equatorial Guinea or similar regions
• Fluent in Spanish and French
• Proficiency in financial software and hotel management systems
• Excellent analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
