Overview
In this Staff Engineer role, you will help build the foundation for SoSafe's AI-native future by architecting and delivering a cross-company automation platform. You’ll lead the evolution of IT operations toward an as-code infrastructure, mentor teams, and champion platform adoption across departments. This role blends hands-on building with strategic guidance to scale innovative automation and AI-driven workflows. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to turn experimentation into production-grade solutions that reduce risk and boost efficiency.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Architect and implement a toolchain that blends traditional automation with spec-driven design and agentic working
- Mentor and enable early adopter teams to derive value and iterate the platform
- Standardise cultural practices and scale the platform across the organisation
- Drive IT operations evolution toward an as-code infrastructure model through hands-on architecture and design
- Contribute to the IT/Sec Operating System as the org shifts to build-not-buy models
- Mentor and elevate the IT engineering team and broader departments to accelerate skills transfer
- Champion automation/AI platforms and drive cross-department adoption to reduce silos
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Staff or Principal Engineer level experience in a cloud-native SaaS environment
- Hands-on coding background in a platform or SRE context; IT experience secondary
- Proven AI-native adoption with production-grade automated workflows or agents
- Deep mastery of infrastructure-as-code
- Experience with modern CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions)
- Experience with enterprise-grade workflow orchestration (n8n, Zapier)
- Pragmatic engineering mindset and ability to design hybrid architectures balancing speed and cost
