Overview
In this Staff Engineer role, you will help accelerate SoSafe’s AI-native transformation by designing and delivering an integrated toolchain that blends traditional automation with spec-driven design and agentic workflows. You’ll mentor teams, standardise practices, and evolve IT operations toward an as-code infrastructure. You’ll work closely with IT, Security, and cross-functional partners to scale platform adoption and break down operational silos. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Architect, build and iterate a toolchain that fuses traditional automation with spec-driven design and agentic working
- Advocate, mentor and enable early adopter teams to use the platforms and provide feedback for iteration
- Standardise cultural practices and scale the platform across departments
- Drive IT operations toward an all-encompassing -as-code infrastructure model through hands-on architecture and design
- Contribute to the IT/Sec Operating System as we move to build-not-buy teams
- Mentor and upskill the IT engineering team and broader departments to accelerate skills transfer
- Champion automation and AI platforms to drive cross-departmental adoption and reduce silos
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Staff or Principal Engineer level experience
- Hands-on coding background in a platform or SRE context
- Track record of successful AI-native adoption and production-grade automated workflows or agents
- Deep mastery of infrastructure-as-code, modern CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and enterprise-grade workflow orchestration (n8n, Zapier)
- Pragmatic engineering mindset balancing speed with cost and hybrid architectures
- Strong leadership and the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
