Overview
In this Asset Manager role, you will maintain accurate IT asset records and manage lifecycle activities for hardware and software. You will work with a government tracking system and collaborate with domain property managers to ensure proper receipt, storage, issue, and turn-in of assets. You will monitor maintenance renewals and ensure continuous coverage of contracts, contributing to the IT program’s reliability. This position supports SOSi’s mission to enable national security missions by keeping assets well-managed and compliant in a fast-paced environment.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Maintain accurate asset management records for IT hardware and software
- Use a government system to track assets across domains
- Assist domain property managers with asset accountability
- Oversee receipt, storage, issue, and turn-in of equipment and software
- Support domain-level request, approval, delivery, and excess processes
- Provide hand receipts for moved, deployed, or issued IT equipment
- Electronically scan assets for issuances, deliveries, relocations, and excess activities
- Track maintenance and renewals to prevent lapses in coverage
- Compile inventory of IT assets and related contracts/agreements
- Perform other duties as required
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Minimum 1 year of asset management or IT lifecycle maintenance experience
- DoD IAT level II compliant or higher
- Fluency in a foreign language is desirable but not required
