Senior Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Senior Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst to support our government customer in Wiesbaden, Germany.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

1. Establish protocols for security and currency of GIS hardware and software including system administration and maintenance.
2. Develop procedures for the acquisition and management of GIS data with other federal, state, and local resources.
3. Develop processes for the hardware, peripherals, GPS units, network, and GIS operating systems.
4. Design, develop, and manage the GIS database and database management system, including the conversion of thematic source maps from analog to digital form using appropriate hardware and software. This involves augmenting the GIS database by digitizing mapped information, importing existing digital data, and converting data.
5. Establish procedures ensuring national data standards are met.
6. Establish processes for GIS plans, data dictionaries, resources management plan project statements related to GIS, project proposals, GIS-related contract and agreement specifications, and written reports.
7. Develop protocols for the GIS and database management software, and when necessary, modify or adapt standard software to meet program needs.
8. Develop protocols for the computer vision implementation, data mining in addition to analytics, data visualization, statistical analysis, algorithm development, or data science.
9. Establish procedures for the geospatial database management or throughputs (such as server management or Geospatial databases).
10. Create processes for research and analysis using geospatial information systems (GIS).
11. Establish procedures for the analytic processes, tools, or techniques used to manage GEOINT data.
12. Create processes for the geospatial analysis and recommend GEOINT solutions.
13. Establish protocols for GEOINT data in analytic processes, techniques, or tools.
14. Develop processes for the GIS tools, models, or applications.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Active In-Scope TS/SCI Clearance.
2. Must have at least 5 (preferably more) recent and relevant GIS experience.
3. Must be SOFA Eligible for Germany.
