Overview
Technical planning role focused on translating customer requirements into manufacturing processes and coordinating engineering, production planning and international manufacturing teams.
Responsibilities
- Translate technical drawings, tolerances and quality requirements into manufacturing processes
- Define production steps, materials, tooling and fixtures
- Prepare and validate technical drawings, production documentation and ERP data
- Coordinate production capacity, material availability and tooling requirements
- Align technical requirements with international engineering and manufacturing teams
- Monitor quality, schedules and technical issues for externally manufactured components
- Support the transfer of manufacturing knowledge and production methods between locations
- Contribute to industrialisation and manufacturing process improvement projects
Requirements
- Advanced technical qualification in mechanical, production, microtechnology or precision engineering
- Several years of experience in production planning, industrialisation or manufacturing engineering
- Strong knowledge of technical drawings, tight tolerances and precision manufacturing
- Practical experience with small precision components, tooling and fixtures
- Experience with ERP-based production planning and technical master data
- International engineering or manufacturing coordination experience
- Fluent French and English; German advantageous
- Willingness to travel internationally several times per year
- Structured, technically minded and strong communicator
