Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Quadient Inspire Architect to define and lead the technical architecture of Customer Communication Management (CCM) solutions. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in the Quadient Inspire suite, experience designing end-to-end omnichannel communication workflows, and a proven track record in solution architecture and enterprise-level technology decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define technology roadmaps, architectural principles, and technical standards across the Quadient software portfolio.
• Design and oversee end-to-end, multichannel document and customer communication workflows using Quadient Inspire.
• Provide advanced architectural expertise across key modules, including Inspire Designer, Inspire Automation, Inspire Interactive, and other relevant Quadient Inspire components.
• Design scalable communication delivery solutions across high-volume print, email, SMS, web portals, and mobile channels.
• Lead platform upgrades and migrations from legacy CCM solutions, such as HP Exstream, OpenText, and Pitney Bowes, to Quadient Inspire.
• Develop migration strategies for transitioning on-premises deployments to cloud-based solutions, including Quadient Inspire Evolve.
• Lead technical discussions on system integrations, accessibility, infrastructure, and platform design.
• Chair architectural review sessions to ensure that technical decisions align with enterprise standards and long-term business objectives.
• Translate business and Customer Experience (CX) requirements into scalable, reusable technical architectures.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, and technical specialists to ensure the successful implementation of CCM solutions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software development and engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in Solution Architecture.
• Strong hands-on and architectural knowledge of the Quadient Inspire suite, including Inspire Designer, Inspire Automation, and Inspire Interactive.
• Extensive understanding of Customer Communication Management (CCM) across different industries.
• Experience designing high-volume, omnichannel document and communication workflows.
• Experience with CCM platform migrations, upgrades, and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integrations, accessibility, and architectural governance.
• Experience in highly regulated industries, particularly Banking and Insurance, is highly desirable.
• Ability to translate business and customer experience requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• German language proficiency is required.

Additional Information

• The assignment is expected to start immediately.
• The initial contract duration is six months.
• The position follows a hybrid working model.
• Candidates must be based in Germany and able to work from the Cologne area, preferably in or near Cologne.
