Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Integration Consultant to support the integration of Coupa with SAP S/4HANA via SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
The assignment is planned with a 40–60% workload, making it particularly suitable for a senior consultant who can provide hands‑on technical expertise and take ownership of the integration activities without requiring a full‑time commitment.
We are looking for a hands‑on expert and problem solver who can quickly understand the existing environment, identify issues and implement pragmatic solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the integration between Coupa and SAP S/4HANA via SAP BTP
- Take ownership of the technical integration activities
- Analyse existing systems, interfaces and integration requirements
- Configure, develop, test and support interfaces
- Troubleshoot integration issues and drive solutions
- Work with APIs, interfaces and integration architecture
- Create clear and maintainable technical documentation
- Transfer knowledge to the internal team
- Support the team in understanding and maintaining the integration
- Communicate progress, risks, dependencies and technical issues transparently
- Take ownership of agreed deliverables and ensure reliable delivery
Must-Have Requirements
- Strong hands‑on experience with SAP BTP and SAP integration technologies
- Proven Coupa / SAP integration experience
- Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA integrations
- Experience integrating SAP with external SaaS or procurement platforms
- Strong understanding of APIs, interfaces and integration architecture
- Experience with Procurement and Source-to-Pay processes
- Experience delivering similar SAP BTP integration projects
- German-speaking
- Hands‑on, pragmatic and delivery-focused mindset
- Strong documentation and knowledge‑transfer skills
- High level of ownership and accountability
- Ability to work independently with limited onboarding
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior SAP Integration expert who can step into the project quickly and contribute immediately, without requiring extensive onboarding or supervision.
Given the 40–60% workload, we are particularly interested in consultants who can provide strong technical expertise on a part‑time basis while taking clear ownership of the integration workstream.
