English is an advantageIdeal CandidateWe are looking for a senior Commercial P&C insurance professional with strong experience in the Swiss SME / Commercial Insurance market.The ideal candidate has a background in Underwriting, Technical Underwriting or as a P&C Insurance Expert, with strong practical knowledge of Property and/or Casualty insurance, risk assessment, underwriting guidelines and portfolio steering.You should be able to quickly understand existing structures, work independently with limited onboarding and provide practical, actionable recommendations from day one. Experience with product structures, risk appetite frameworks and facility/framework agreements is particularly valuable.About the AssignmentThe assignment focuses on reviewing and further developing the Commercial P&C / SME insurance approach, including risk appetite, underwriting guidelines, product structures and facility/framework agreements.The role requires a senior professional who can work closely with business stakeholders and translate complex insurance topics into clear recommendations and improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and further develop the P&C risk appetite frameworkAssess and optimise the SME product offering and coverage conceptsReview underwriting guidelines, principles, limits and deductiblesAnalyse current underwriting and market practicesReview and optimise facility agreements and framework contractsAssess underwriting processes, workflows and operating modelsIdentify and document improvement opportunities and recommendationsCollaborate with Underwriting, Sales, Business Development and other stakeholdersPrepare and present findings and recommendations to specialist and management audiencesRequired ExperienceSeveral years of experience in the Swiss SME / Commercial Insurance marketStrong background as Underwriter, Technical Underwriter, P&C Insurance Expert or similarDeep knowledge of Property and/or Casualty insuranceStrong understanding of Commercial xshrkfv P&C underwriting and risk assessmentPractical experience with risk appetite, underwriting guidelines, product structures and portfolio steeringExperience with underwriting limits, deductibles and commercial insurance contractsGood knowledge of Swiss market practicesAbility to work independently with limited onboardingFluency in German and/or FrenchPreferred ExpertiseExperience in one or more of the following areas is an advantage:Commercial P&C / SME ProductsProperty InsuranceCommercial LiabilityEngineering InsuranceFacility and framework agreementsBroker distribution structuresUnderwriting process optimisation and documentation#J-18808-Ljbffr
