At Sovara Labs, we’re building an agent optimization platform that helps enterprises make AI systems more accurate, reliable, and explainable. We’re an ETH Zurich / MIT spin-off with offices in Zurich and Boston, working closely with leading researchers and industry experts.
We’re looking for a full-stack engineer to join us on a fixed-term contract, with a strong possibility to extend into a longer-term role.
What you'll work on You’ll be one of the early engineers and will own meaningful parts of the product from day one:
Build and scale our hosted web application used by enterprise customers
Package and extend our web app into desktop environments (macOS, Linux, Windows)
Improve the scalability of our backend systems to support large, high-volume agent deployments
Set up and refine core infrastructure (authentication, payments, deployment)
Work directly with the founders on fast iterations and product decisions
You’ll ship quickly, see your work in production, and have real ownership.
What we're looking for
~2+ years of experience as a software engineer
Strong experience with Python, React, and TypeScript
Solid understanding of web infrastructure (APIs, hosting, auth, etc.)
Ability to build and ship quickly without sacrificing code quality
Nice to have:
Experience with packaging web apps into desktop environments (e.G., Electron, Tauri, VS Code extensions)
Experience with enterprise systems (access control, security, internal tools)
Exposure to AI systems / LLMs / agent workflows
