Linux IT system administrator (m/f/d) for the office of our daycare provider.

You start with us …

Then we need you! You will actively support our dedicated IT team in day-to-day business. In addition to managing the inventory, your area of responsibility also includes account administration, provision of end devices, support in the event of malfunctions – and much more! You will be responsible for installation and configuration, operation and monitoring as well as the expansion of our IT infrastructure. You will advise and support technically inexperienced colleagues in the use of applications such as Zimbra, Sage, LibreOffice, Microsoft Office – whether on the phone, in one of our many daycare centers or in our office.

For this position you need …

  • IT training, training as an IT specialist for system administration or comparable training
  • several years of professional experience
  • extensive know-how in the field of GNU/Linux, server administration, mail servers, virtualization solutions, system monitoring tools
  • in-depth knowledge of network components/protocols and VPN router configuration
  • Preferably knowledge in the area of encryption and authentication solutions
  • Knowledge of SQL, BASH
  • Very good communication, consulting and teamwork skills
  • Good written and spoken German skills
  • Class B driver’s license
