Overview
In this role you ensure mobile app quality at scale within the SBC App Team, part of Specialized Global Tech. You will design and execute mobile testing strategies, balancing manual and automated approaches. You collaborate with developers, UX/UI, and product teams to deliver reliable Android and iOS experiences for riders of e-bikes. Your work drives robust mobile performance, test automation adoption, and clear defect resolution. This is a hands-on, impact-oriented opportunity in a connected-device domain.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Review requirements and designs for testability and craft mobile-focused test plans
- Develop and maintain test scripts for Android and iOS using Katalon and Appium
- Design and execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and stress tests on devices and emulators
- Collaborate with development, UX/UI, and product teams to resolve issues and improve quality
- Identify, document, and manage mobile defects in the in-house bug tracking system
- Enforce QA processes for mobile test environments and maintain their integrity
- Translate ticket requirements and acceptance criteria into test cases for sprints
- Manage UAT with business users, UX/UI, and development teams
- Analyze test results and communicate outcomes to the team
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5+ years in Software Quality Assurance and testing
- 3+ years in mobile application testing (iOS and Android)
- Hands-on with Katalon Studio or Appium for test automation
- Strong knowledge of mobile QA processes, methodologies, and tools
- Experience with Xcode, Android Studio, and device/emulator testing
- Understanding of REST APIs, native mobile apps, and connected hardware integrations
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills in mobile contexts
- Experience developing and documenting clear mobile test plans and cases
- Self-learner with strong communication and collaboration
- Experience with Atlassian Confluence and JIRA
