System Validation Engineer in Cham

Overview

In this role you assist in validating end-to-end electronic systems for Specialized’s Turbo Quality team, focusing on early-stage testing of hardware, software, and components for e-bikes. You will collaborate with system and connectivity engineers to validate firmware, hardware changes, and related tools, contributing to high-performance, reliable cycling experiences. You will work hands-on with test protocols, riding tests, and cross-functional feedback to shape product quality and ride feel. This is an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge e-bike technology at Specialized’s Cham innovation center.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• End-to-end user validation in development projects
• User validation of new firmware (HMI, motor, battery) including riding tests
• Toolchain validation
• Specialized App testing
• Regression testing on released bikes
• Define/execute delta validation protocols for new firmware
• Assist in validation of hardware running changes
• Document test results and follow up on findings
• Feedback test findings to quality engineer
• Define reproduction test protocols for issues
• Collaborate with System Engineering to define new test protocols

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Min 2-3 years’ experience in firmware, software, embedded system testing or in the bike industry
• Responsible, dedicated and meticulous with a will-do attitude and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English (German a plus)
• Knowledge of Jira/Confluence is a plus
• Profound IT user knowledge (MS Office, Outlook)
• Great social, communication and networking skills
• Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand
