Overview In this role you will join Specialized's Turbo Quality team to ensure the highest quality electronic systems for cycling experiences. You will perform early-stage testing and end-to-end validation across hardware, software, and components, collaborating with system, firmware, software, and service teams. The position is based in Cham, Switzerland, focusing on delivering reliable, high-performance bikes and toolchains. You will drive quality strategy through the product lifecycle and contribute to cutting-edge e-bike technology that powers rider performance. Verantwortungsbereiche Define system validation protocols for new systems Drive issue resolution identified during validation and testing Support new system requirements based on lessons learned End-to-end validation for full customer experience Identify and resolve complex issues across system, app and toolchain Collaborate with System Engineering, Firmware, Software, and Service teams to develop diagnostic strategies and fault trees Own the quality strategy from concept to production launch and end-of-life Lead quality assessment and validation for firmware releases in the field Monitor field quality performance using high-level metrics to identify improvements Zentrale Anforderungen Minimum 3 years in Quality Engineering, System Engineering, Validation Engineering, Product Development, or related field Experience with complex electromechanical systems (hardware, software, firmware, connectivity, mobile apps) Proven New Product Introduction (NPI) and product development process experience Experience with embedded systems, CAN communication, battery systems, motor controls, connectivity solutions, and mobile apps Ability to analyze software logs, field diagnostics, telemetry data, and test reports Knowledge of Jira/Confluence is a plus Profound IT user knowledge (MS Office, Outlook) Strong social, communication, and networking skills Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand strong communication team collaboration problem-solving mindset embedded systems CAN communication battery systems
