Job Description
On behalf of our client, a private bank based in Geneva, we are looking for a DevOps Consultant for a 4-month assignment, to start as soon as possible.
You will work on a project to modernise production environments aimed at streamlining existing solutions and supporting their evolution. In collaboration with internal teams, you will participate in analysing the current state, defining the target architecture, and implementing migrations, in compliance with DevOps best practices.
As part of this assignment, you will also be involved in production environments that include batch processing and scheduling processes, essential to the smooth running of the bank's activities.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct an inventory of existing solutions and processes - Participate in defining the target architecture - Support technical migrations and production deployments - Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices and automation processes - Administer and use source code management tools, notably Git - Participate in the operation, monitoring, and reliability of batch processing in production environments - Contribute to optimising scheduling processes and automation of tasks - Ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of deployments in production environments - Collaborate with technical teams to ensure a smooth transition to new environments
Profile Sought
- Higher education in computer science - 1 to 2 years of initial experience in a DevOps, SRE, or systems engineering role - Good command of Git and main DevOps tools - Knowledge of production environments, deployment processes, and automation - Experience with batch environments, scheduled processing, or scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, Dollar Universe, Tivoli Workload Scheduler or equivalent) is a real asset - Rigour, autonomy, and sense of responsibility - Good team spirit and ability to thrive in a demanding environment - Availability to start quickly
