Your Mission
As a Key Account Manager – Acquisition Team , your mission is to identify, engage, and secure high-potential clients, building the foundation for long-term strategic partnerships. You won\’t just be acquiring accounts—you\’ll be laying the groundwork for lasting value by deeply understanding client needs and aligning them with Speexx\’s innovative solutions.
You\’ll take ownership of the full acquisition cycle: from prospecting and stakeholder engagement to presenting tailored solutions and closing impactful deals. With your consultative approach, business acumen, and drive for results, you\’ll ensure that every new client sees the full potential of partnering with Speexx.

What You Will Do At Speexx
- Manage and hold overall responsibility for a portfolio of primarily large (> 10,000 employee) global and national prospect accounts (app. 300 accounts)
- Be one of the commercial spearheads for Speexx in the DACH market
- Show hands-on negotiation and field activity especially on large bids / tenders
- Analyze business trends, pipeline status and forecasts and provide full visibility of business potential through the CRM reporting tool
- Identify customer requirements, possible implementation solutions as well as consultancy in line with the Speexx product portfolio
- Build personal network with decision makers in key target accounts
- Meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities
- Successfully collaborate with assigned Business Development Representatives
- Define and execute sales plans for assigned accounts
What We Look For
- Track record exceeding quota with large customers (>10,000) employees
- Profound customer-facing experience and global account management experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
- Experience in closing six-digit sales projects in license sales, supported by strong negotiation skills and consultative solution selling techniques
- Experience with tender processes is a plus
- A self-starter attitude, you are a result driven \“hunter\“ with the ability to pro-actively identify, develop and close new opportunities
- A team player who collaborates with business partners and peers
- Fluency in German and English is required, further languages are an advantage
- Regular presence in the Munich office and in person visits to prospects is a plus
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM and social media tools is required
- Experience with selling learning or coaching services is a plus
