You will work closely with development, engineering, construction and procurement teams to help progress grid-scale battery storage projects across Germany.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development team in securing and progressing grid capacity, including technical input before and after grid applications.
- Acting as a key technical interface with German DSOs and other grid stakeholders.
- Supporting the design and delivery of HV/MV grid connections and associated electrical infrastructure.
- Providing technical input into connection agreements, scopes of work and contractor packages.
- Reviewing electrical designs, specifications and engineering documentation.
- Leading and supporting electrical workstreams during construction, commissioning and energisation.
- Working with EPCs, OEMs, consultants and other external engineering partners.
- Supporting procurement and technical evaluation of electrical equipment and contractors.
- Identifying and managing technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Driving high standards of electrical safety and HSE across projects.
- Supporting asset reliability, maintenance strategy and operational engineering once projects become operational.
About You
We are looking for someone with a strong background in high-voltage electrical infrastructure and grid-connected energy projects.
You will ideally have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience delivering HV electrical connections and infrastructure projects.
- Previous exposure to renewables, BESS, power generation or other grid-connected energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of HV/MV systems, substations and grid connection infrastructure.
- Experience working with German DSOs, utilities or network operators.
- An understanding of electrical construction, commissioning and energisation.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety and HSE within major infrastructure projects.
- The ability to work across development, engineering, construction and operational teams.
