Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join a leading organisation delivering complex, large-scale mission‑critical construction projects across Europe.

The Role

As a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial and cost management aspects of major MEP packages from pre‑construction through to project completion. You will work closely with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and review detailed cost estimates for MEP works.
• Lead the procurement process for MEP subcontractors, services, and materials.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost performance throughout delivery.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.
• Produce regular financial reports and cost updates for senior management.
• Manage valuations, variations, change control, and final accounts.
• Support and mentor junior surveyors within the commercial team.
• Collaborate with project, design, and construction teams to drive commercial success.

About You

• Strong experience (8+ years preferred) in Quantity Surveying with a strong focus on MEP packages.
• Proven experience working on large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Excellent commercial acumen and cost management expertise.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using industry‑standard commercial and cost management software.
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
