Site Technician

QA BoP Site Technician – Wind Energy | Germany

We are currently looking for a QA Site Technician to support major onshore wind projects in Germany. This is a highly hands‑on, site‑based quality role, focused primarily on foundations and civil construction activities focusing on concrete insulation.

We are particularly interested in Wind Turbine Technicians, Quality Technicians, Civil Supervisors, and candidates with a strong foundations/civils background combined with practical on‑site quality experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and implement the BoP Quality Control Plan on site.
• Conduct continuous quality surveillance of BoP and foundation works.
• Inspect construction activities and ensure compliance with approved procedures, specifications, and standards.
• Monitor inspection and hold points and identify any quality deviations.
• Verify materials and ensure delivered products meet project requirements.
• Concrete pouring and testing
• Foundation inspections and repairs
• Coordinate with laboratories and third‑party inspection teams.
• Identify, document, and follow up on Non‑Conformities (NCRs) through to closure.
• Conduct quality audits of subcontractors and site activities.
• Maintain accurate inspection and quality records.
• Work closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and the BoP Manager to ensure quality requirements are met.

Requirements

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Strong experience in foundations and civil construction.
• Hands‑on experience with quality inspections/surveillance on construction sites.
• Experience working within wind energy projects is highly desirable.
• Previous supervisory or site‑based experience.
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures and construction standards.
• Full GWO training/certification.
• Valid driving license and reliable vehicle.
• English – verbal and written.
• Willingness and ability to travel.
