Spencer Ogden has opportunity has arisen for an experienced WTG Site Manager to join a leading offshore wind project team. This role offers the chance to be a key player in the delivery of wind turbine pre-assembly operations at a major port facility, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant project execution.
Job role: Site Manager – Pre-Assembly (Offshore Wind)
Location: North Germany
Duration: January 2026 - November 2026
Rotation: 14/14 rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Employer’s representative and main communication point for component delivery, pre-assembly, and load-out operations.
- Coordinate activities across shifts and disciplines including HSE, Quality, Expediting, and Commissioning.
- Manage scheduling with consideration of component availability, vessel movements, and weather conditions.
- Ensure quality standards and safety requirements are met throughout all stages of pre-assembly and load-out.
- Lead site personnel and contractor coordination for marshalling area setup and component readiness.
- Monitor and report progress, prepare detailed site reports, and maintain compliance with port and project administrative requirements.
- Support risk management, scope control, and contractor performance throughout the pre-assembly phase.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in wind turbine pre-assembly and offshore wind farm construction.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Experience working in multicultural environments.
- Knowledge of Spanish and/or German is a plus.
- Candidates must maintain relevant health and safety certifications throughout the contract.
