The Solution Executive will maximize profitable company sales revenue by identifying, qualifying, negotiating, and closing new business with new and existing clients. This position primarily involves selling Sphera’s software solutions. The role embodies Sphera’s commitment to customer satisfaction, trust, and loyalty, representing the company both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Selling to Enterprise accounts, focusing on acquiring new accounts (hunting)
  • Executing against yearly sales goals
  • Qualifying and disqualifying new business opportunities while identifying customer pain points
  • Delivering executive-level dialogue presenting Sphera’s value proposition
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Account Managers
  • Maintaining accurate sales forecasts
  • Driving revenue growth across assigned business lines, identifying revenue drivers and metrics, and creating visibility on revenue trends
  • Delivering solution presentations to key customers
  • Developing enterprise software license proposals
  • Negotiating enterprise software contracts
  • Creating closing plans for forecasted business
  • Closing deals in a timely manner
  • Fully understanding Sphera’s unique value proposition

Qualifications

  • At least 5+ years of successful experience selling Enterprise Software and Technology solutions to the Global 2000
  • Proven success in closing large, complex sales and contributing to creative deal-making
  • Experience in negotiations, partnerships, and joint ventures
  • Ability to implement successful sales strategies in changing markets, understanding the product sales cycle and competitive landscape
  • Adaptability in leveraging products, services, and operations to compete effectively
  • Prioritizes customer satisfaction, listens to customers
  • Has closed major deals and maintains strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Enjoys interacting with customers and prospects, actively participating in the sales process
  • Ability to work effectively in team-oriented, complex, matrixed organizations
  • Strong relationship management skills, able to relate to diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Desire to function as an entrepreneurial contributor within Sphera, without heavy reliance on support staff
  • Consistently meets or exceeds yearly quotas
  • Fluent in German and English
