The Business/Project Controller is the financial partner of the operational teams and management. They ensure control of the P&L, project profitability, reliability of forecasts as well as anticipation of risks and opportunities.
Your mission:
Business Controlling
- Manage the P&L, from Operational Income to EBIT, and guarantee the reliability of financial analyses
- Analyse performance: activity, margin, EBIT and productivity
- Evaluate new projects according to financial and profitability objectives
- Monitor margins and variances, then coordinate corrective actions
- Conduct project and contract reviews and challenge assumptions
- Identify measures to improve operational efficiency
- Provide management with analyses on risks and opportunities
- Support Project and Service Managers in financial management
- Produce EBIT forecasts and contribute to budgets and forecasts
Project Controlling
- Prepare and communicate monthly results
- Monitor profitability, costs, turnover, margin and cash flow of projects
- Update forecasts according to project developments
- Analyse variances between Business Case, budget, forecasts and actuals
- Ensure the quality of financial data and support decision-making
- Higher education in finance, management control, accounting, business economics or equivalent field
- Proven experience in business controlling, project controlling or financial control in a project or service environment
- Proficiency in SAP FI/CO and practical experience in financial project monitoring
- Extensive experience in budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, EBIT, project profitability, risk & opportunity management
- Very good knowledge of Excel, Power BI, Power Query, financial automation and continuous improvement
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, communication and presentation skills
- Autonomy, rigour, sense of priorities and ability to work with financial and operational stakeholders
- Native French speaker with very good knowledge of English. German is an asset
