IT - Network Administrator (m/f/d)

We are a dynamic team and are looking for a committed

IT network administrator (m/f/d) ,

who is not only technically adept, but also fits in with us.

Following the introduction of new standard software, our focus and the resulting requirements are on a modern IT infrastructure, optimization of work processes and workflows in order to achieve an efficient way of working and a better overview for the entire company. Our main production site is in Kaiserslautern. We also have a very modern subsidiary in Slovakia and a marketing and sales office in Singen on Lake Constance. Our IT department is a small team that is also responsible for supporting users and end users in the operational area, but also for maintaining and further developing the entire IT infrastructure.

TASKS

• Management, maintenance and optimization of the IT network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, VPN, firewalls, servers)
• Supporting and advising the team on IT issues and solving problems in 2nd and 3rd level support
• Selection, negotiation and coordination with external software service providers and IT support companies
• Ensuring IT security and carrying out updates and regular backups
• Monitoring and adherence to the IT budget
• Collaboration on IT projects such as the introduction of the new standard software as well as support for end users and all users at the main site and in the subsidiary company in the Slovak Republic
• Documentation of IT systems and processes

Requirements

• Sound knowledge of network technologies, server administration and IT security
• Experience in working with Windows and Linux servers and cloud technologies
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new software solutions
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with external service providers
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Team spirit and motivation to work in an agile environment
