(Senior) SAP Basis Consultant (f/m/d) – 100% remote possible
Your tasks
- You are the technical sparring partner for our customers and understand their concerns and can implement them independently
- You advise on exciting SAP projects such as S/4HANA upgrades, S/4HANA conversions or data center transitions
- You ensure the smooth operation of SAP systems and take on the technical management and coordination of project teams and external service providers
- You take care of the evaluation, installation and configuration of SAP servers and databases as well as the planning and implementation of SAP release changes, migrations and the installation of patches
- You implement and monitor the implementation of security measures in the SAP landscape
- You analyze errors and rectify any faults that occur in 2nd & 3rd level support
- You help to identify innovative topics and trends and drive them forward
- If necessary, you work hand in hand with the IT infrastructure and other IT groups
Your profile
- You have several years of professional experience in the administration of SAP systems (incl. HANA database)
- You have in-depth knowledge of the installation, configuration and maintenance of SAP systems
- You already have several certifications in the SAP area and have proven that you are a true SAP hero
- You have in-depth knowledge of SuSE, Linux and SAP HANA (other operating systems and databases would be an advantage)
- You are interested in supporting our SAP systems and, after extensive training in the team, ensuring the smooth operation of these systems via an on-call service
- You are characterized by strong analytical and problem-solving skills and already have experience in IT security and data protection in SAP environments
- You are a team player and impress with your structured and analytical approach
- You have strong project implementation skills and show assertiveness, combined with a skillful diplomatic approach
- You have very good communication skills in German and a good command of English
