Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d – Full time)

In this role, you’ll:

1. Design and implement amazing machine learning solutions for our autonomous systems, including tasks like object detection, semantic segmentation, behavioral cloning or reinforcement learning.
2. Develop algorithms for different modules like sensor fusion, perception, SLAM, environmental analysis, motion prediction or mission and motion planning.
3. Work with multimodal Sensors: Cameras, Lidar, Radar, etc.
4. Interact with our cross functional engineering team and customers to identify opportunities and requirements.
5. Directly apply machine learning models into real world products that will fly, drive or swim autonomously.

At a minimum we’d like you to have:

1. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
2. 2 years of work or educational experience in machine learning or AI.
3. 1 year of relevant work experience, including software development.
4. Experience with one or more programming languages including but not limited to: C/C++, Python.
5. Experience using machine learning libraries or platforms, e.g. Pytorch, Tensorflow, Caffe, Theanos, Scikit-Learn or ML Lib for production.
6. Machine learning and/or computer vision domain knowledge.
7. Experience with SW Continuous Integration.

It’s preferred if you have:

1. MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or a related technical field.
2. Experience with one or more of the following areas: computer vision, applied robotics, classification, pattern recognition, reinforcement learning.
3. Experience with one or more of the basic robotic tasks like sensor fusion, perception, SLAM, environmental models, motion prediction, behavioral cloning, mission- and motion planning.
