Your Responsibilities
- Support and help shape the data and business intelligence strategy, working toward positioning SPORTFIVE as a data-driven organization.
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the “Power BI & Data Architecture” project, including the transition from SAP BW and GCP to a Power BI-first infrastructure.
- Drive the integration of Microsoft Fabric solutions, such as DataFactory, Lakehouse, Synapse, and Power BI, to help build the foundation for SPORTFIVE’s data landscape.
- Lead and develop the Data & Analytics team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and ongoing support for data-related projects.
- Conduct regular alignment meetings with key stakeholders to review project progress, address challenges, and support strategic objectives.
- Oversee sprint planning and agile execution for priority use cases, in collaboration with Finance and other departments, to ensure efficient adoption of new technology.
- Foster effective collaboration between technical teams and business units to meet company-wide data and reporting needs.
Your Profile
- Background in data architecture, business intelligence, and project management.
- Proven experience with Power BI and Microsoft Azure Data technologies (Fabric, DataFactory, Lakehouse, Synapse).
- Previous involvement in SAP BW transition projects (preferred).
- Strong leadership experience in guiding data teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Strategic and hands-on mindset, with an ability to balance short-term objectives and long-term goals.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for engaging with senior stakeholders and other departments.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
