Junior People Advisor – Austria (m/f/d) Vienna We\’re the world\’s leading sports technology company, at the intersection between sports, media, and betting. OVERVIEW: As we continue to grow, we\’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior People Advisor to join our People Team in Austria. You will play a crucial role in managing HR operations with a particular focus on payroll preparation. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for data accuracy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Furthermore, you will support end-to-end People matters, including for example local implementations of global People initiatives, Culture, Values and Engagement agendas, compliance for all global policies and local law / policies, local learning and local leadership and employees coaching/guidance. THE CHALLENGE: * Payroll for Vienna and Linz: Drive and fully own the payroll cycle for both Austrian offices, Vienna and Linz. Prepare the payroll for the external payroll provider while considering being SOX compliant through the whole process (from preparation to payout). * Employee Relations: Serve as admin and assist Senior PA Manager for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances. Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to ensure compliance and maintain positive employee relations. * Local Admin: Support the creation of employee contracts as well as other employee-related necessary documents and keep employee records up to date and compliant with GDPR. Act as subject matter expert internally and liaise internally with Legal and externally with immigration teams on relocation support, including immigration matters where applicable. * Onboarding and Offboarding: Support the onboarding and offboarding physically and administratively for any new employee on location, working closely with line manager, talent acquisition team and responsible divisional partner. Support the immigration and relocation process and ensure related documents are up to date. * Compliance, HR Policies: Stay up to date on country, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are following relevant legislation. Partner with Compliance and Risk to ensure employee data integrity as well as relevant trainings are implemented. * Local Strategy and People data: Support the adaption and implementation of the relevant and selected People Strategic initiatives locally in alignment with Divisional People Partners and CoEs. Ensure local initiatives on Talents, Learning & Development are implemented. Keep quarterly KPIs, Joan and RTO reporting. * Culture and values: Partner with the local Functional Leaders to understand, translate business needs into the relevant actions when comes to people, culture and organization, including local values activation plans and Hybrid working. * Engagement, CSR and Diversity Equity Inclusion: Drives engagement, CSR and DEI activities locally. Support the implementation of initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Identify ways to engage on-site employees. Partner with the relevant stakeholders. * Global Projects: Actively participate in various global projects for your further professional and personal development and for enhancing the collaboration across the wider People team. YOUR PROFILE: * Bachelors degree in HRM or related field, or experience equivalent. * Minimum of 2 years of progressive HR experience (first experience with payroll preparation is considered as a plus). * First knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations specific to the country * Passionate about HR operations and accuracy in data. * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. * Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and other relevant HR software applications. * Customer in centricity, high-level communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. * German and English fluent; Additional languages considered a plus. The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
