As we continue to expand our business, we are seeking a curious and passionate individual to join our team as the Head of UX/UI (f/m/d) and drive our business forward.

What Will Your Role Be

You will be a pivotal leader in driving the growth and maturity of our UX capabilities across our diverse range of products and services.

With a strong focus on fostering creativity, innovation, and a human-centered design approach, you will mentor and guide a team of talented UX/UI designers, ensuring the continuous improvement of their skills and fostering a collaborative culture that inspires the creation of exceptional customer experiences.

In this role, you will shape and implement our UX/UI strategy and vision, ensuring our digital experiences are not only aesthetically outstanding but also deeply aligned with user needs and business goals. You are highly motivated to foster a culture of experimentation, encouraging the exploration of new ideas to push the boundaries of design excellence.

What You´ll Do

UX/UI Strategy & Vision

• Act as a UX/UI Design evangelist, serving as the bridge between the UX team and stakeholders (business, product, marketing, and analytics) and advocate for excellence.
• Drive UX maturity across the company by advocating for a culture of Design Excellence and human-centered design.
• Champion the integration of design thinking and UX Research into the product development lifecycle.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Provide guidance, supervision, and mentorship to the UX/UI team, fostering their professional growth, design expertise, and high performance in a collaborative environment.
• Lead cross-functional projects, workshops, and coaching sessions to promote a strong UX design culture within the organization.

Team & Project Oversight & Process Optimization

• Translate the UX/UI vision into actionable design plans that align with both the company’s strategy and user needs.
• Continuously refine design processes, tools, and methodologies to keep the UX/UI practice at the forefront of industry innovation.
• Oversee design projects from concept to delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget targets are consistently met.
• Streamline workflows to maximize quality alongside efficiency and maintain a focus on continuous improvement. Ensure outputs align with company goals and contribute effectively to achieving strategic goals.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Engage regularly with business, marketing, and product teams to refine requirements and ensure impactful design solutions.
• Confidently present design concepts and strategies, showcasing a deep understanding of UX principles and business objectives.

Innovation & Trend Exploration

• Stay current with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies, applying these insights to drive innovation within the team.
• Foster a culture of experimentation and creativity, encouraging the team to explore new design approaches and methodologies.
• Set high standards for design quality, ensuring consistency and excellence across all digital touchpoints.

What You´ll Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communication design, User Experience, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• Intensive experience in both creative and analytical aspects of UX/UI, background in eCommerce, fashion, or lifestyle sectors preferred.
• Proven experience in team leading, with a hands-on mentality and ability to guide teams through fast-paced changes.
• Proven experience in creative and art direction, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly and effectively.
• An impressive portfolio / case studies showcasing your strategic UX concepts and aesthetic UI design skills.
• Expertise in designing digital products, services, and complex platforms for a variety of end devices.
• Skilled in creating user journeys, flowcharts, sitemaps, and prototypes. Deep understanding of design thinking, agile processes, and user testing methods.
• Technical acumen and experience working closely with developers to ensure seamless design implementation.
• Strong experience in building and using pattern libraries and multi-brand design systems.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English, additional language(s) a plus.
