The role in brief
The Esri Lead owns the GIS design and build on a Power Platform--based permitting, licensing and inspections solution for a municipal client:
- Own the ArcGIS integration architecture - real-time REST integration to the client's ArcGIS services, plus scheduled file-based synchronization
- Build address point and parcel search and validation, including the spatial queries that populate property attributes (owner, PIN, zoning, jurisdiction, floodplain, watershed) onto permit and case records
- Configure geography-driven inspector assignment from ArcGIS work-area layers
- Embed map components in both the internal staff application and the public-facing portal - address search, map-based address selection, inspector workload maps
- Work directly with the client's GIS team on layers, feature services and address point maintenance
- Support geocoding and address validation during data migration
Looking for
- Hands-on ArcGIS Enterprise / ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS REST API, feature services and geoprocessing
- ArcGIS Maps SDK / JavaScript API experience for embedded map UI
- Nice to have: Microsoft Power Platform / Dataverse or Azure integration experience, and prior public-sector permitting or land management work
