To strengthen our Corporate Finance team in Lyss, we are looking for a Senior Group Accountant (m/f/d), 100% . You report directly to the Head of Corporate Finance and play a central role in the group’s accounting.
This is the ideal next career step for someone with solid experience in accounting or audit who wants more responsibility. You will own the consolidation of an international group and help shape how our group finance structures and processes develop.
Your responsibilities
- Own the monthly and annual group consolidation under Swiss GAAP FER in LucaNet
- Review and validate the financial data of our international group companies, including intercompany reconciliations
- Act as the point of contact for local finance teams on group accounting, reporting and consolidation
- Support accounting and valuation questions under Swiss GAAP FER
- Coordinate the group audit and work with our external auditors
- Help develop the Group Accounting Manual and the internal control system (ICS)
- Develop and standardize group-wide accounting, closing and reporting processes
- Contribute to group-wide finance projects and their roll-out across all entities
Your profile
- Degree or equivalent training in accounting, finance or business administration
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, group accounting or audit
- Good knowledge of financial reporting; experience with Swiss GAAP FER, IFRS and/or US GAAP and consolidation is an advantage
- Experience with LucaNet and/or proALPHA is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent way of working
- Hands-on mindset and motivation to take ownership and improve processes
- Fluent German and English
