Overview
In this Strategic Procurement Manager role, you will shape procurement and strategic sourcing to reduce total cost of ownership while improving quality, standards and delivery. You’ll own supplier selection and development and drive sustainable procurement improvements to support SR Technics’ growth. You’ll analyze spend, negotiate agreements and monitor supplier performance in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The opportunity focuses on optimizing sourcing in aviation, licensing and logistics services in a global, innovative, and sustainability-minded context.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop and execute procurement and strategic sourcing strategies to reduce TCO and improve quality, standards and delivery performance
- Analyze spend data to identify and justify strategic sourcing initiatives
- Recommend efficient methods for strategic sourcing initiatives and agreements
- Negotiate sourcing agreements and manage contract changes for compliance
- Apply negotiation skills to resolve supplier disputes and ensure compliant outcomes
- Evaluate bid responses to select best value bidders and defend award decisions
- Collaborate with operational and other Procurement teams to monitor supplier performance and develop policies/tools
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or economics
- Experience in a technical environment, preferably aviation
- Proven sourcing and contracting experience with strong project management
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of databases and data handling tools
- German B2 and English C1
- Experience in supplier and vendor performance management
