Hiring: Head of Cybersecurity (Fintech)

We’re partnering with a high-growth fintech firm that\’s redefining how people manage and move money. As they scale, they are seeking a Head of Cybersecurity to take ownership of their security architecture, incident response, governance, and regulatory compliance across all digital platforms.

🔐 About the Role

As Head of Cybersecurity, you will report directly to the CTO and work closely with Product, Engineering, and Risk teams. Your mission: to protect customer data, uphold trust, and ensure security is embedded at every layer of the technology stack.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company-wide cybersecurity strategy
• Lead threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response
• Implement security controls across infrastructure, applications, and APIs
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks
• Build and scale the internal security team and partner with third-party vendors
• Serve as the subject matter expert on all things security with the board, regulators, and partners

What We\’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, ideally with at least 2 in fintech or regulated environments
• Deep technical knowledge across cloud (AWS/GCP), app security, and DevSecOps
• Experience building secure systems at scale and managing high-impact incidents
• Strong understanding of global financial compliance standards and risk frameworks
• Leadership experience — you\’re comfortable managing teams and influencing execs
