Business Development Manager – Data Centres
Are you already connected with the people developing, expanding or investing in data centres across Germany?
I'm working with a growing energy infrastructure business expanding from large-scale BESS into data centres. They're looking for a Business Development Manager to use their existing industry relationships to open doors, develop new opportunities and help build this new business line.
What you'll do
- Build commercial relationships with data-centre developers, colocation operators, AI/cloud businesses and infrastructure investors.
- Identify companies planning new data-centre developments or expanding existing capacity.
- Develop opportunities around power availability, MW requirements, location and project delivery.
- Take opportunities from initial conversations through to NDAs, HoTs/LOIs and commercial partnerships.
- Work directly with the CEO and development team to turn relationships into viable projects.
- Represent the business at key data-centre and infrastructure events.
What you'll bring
- 5+ years' experience in business development, strategic sales or commercial partnerships within data centres, digital infrastructure or related markets.
- An established network across the German data-centre ecosystem, with the ability to engage relevant decision-makers.
- Experience originating new business and progressing complex commercial opportunities.
- Confidence engaging C-level stakeholders, developers, operators and investors.
- Fluent German and English.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to build something from the ground up.
The opportunity
- €90,000–€120,000 base + bonus and equity participation.
- Direct access to the CEO and ownership of the data-centre growth strategy.
- Berlin-based hybrid working and European travel.
- The opportunity to turn existing industry relationships into new development partnerships.
Already working with data-centre developers, operators or investors and able to open the right doors?
I'd love to hear from you.
