Overview

Are you passionate about transforming data into meaningful business insights and shaping market strategies? As a Market Demand Planner, you will play a key role in forecasting global demand across product families and regions. Working closely with Sales, Product Management, and customers, you will identify demand drivers, analyze market trends, and turn insights into informed decisions that help drive business success.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer forecasts, seasonal trends, and market data to quickly identify demand shifts and opportunities.
• Prepare and lead brand review meetings with Account Managers to gain insights into buying behaviors and upcoming developments.
• Maintain accurate and up to date demand plans using statistical models, forecasts, and market expertise.
• Partner with Sales and Product Management on new product launches, acting as the commercial voice of demand throughout the go to market process.
• Develop and present clear and impactful reports for demand and brand reviews, transforming complex data into actionable insights.
• Communicate demand changes and potential risks in a timely, transparent, and solution oriented manner.
• Represent the customer and market perspective across internal teams, ensuring commercial realities are reflected in business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, or alternatively in Supply Chain, Statistics, or a related field when combined with a strong understanding of business economics and bicycle market dynamics.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Demand Planning, Sales Forecasting, S&OP, or a related function demonstrating strategic thinking and cross functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, combined with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience or a personal connection with the outdoor or bicycle industry is considered a plus.
• Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and align teams around a shared market perspective.
• Fluency in English is essential. Additional languages, particularly German, are an advantage.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required. Experience with SAP IBP and data visualization tools such as Power BI is an advantage.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to enhancing processes and ways of working.
• Strong commercial curiosity with the ability to interpret market dynamics as effectively as data.
• Based within commuting distance of the office and available to work onsite at least three days per week. Occasional international travel is encouraged to collaborate with global colleagues.
• Adaptable, proactive, and energized by a fast paced environment where sound judgment and initiative are valued.
