The SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences is a private, state-recognized and accredited university with locations in Berlin, Dresden and Hamburg. Six schools combine modern management and entrepreneurship, media and creative industries, technology and IT, music and sound design in modern German and English-language courses. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a full-time "Professor for Applied Mathematics and Statistics (f/m/d)" in full-time and within the framework of a permanent employment contract as of April 1, 2024.

Your duties:
- Teaching in English and German in the fields of Applied Mathematics and Statistics in Bachelor's and Master's programmes
- Relevant research in the field
- Publication and conference activities
- Participation in the further development of the BST study programmes
- Participation in academic self-administration
Your profile:
- Many years of experience in teaching and research in Applied Mathematics and Statistics
- Relevant research activities with publications in international journals and presentations at conferences
- International co-operation with universities and scientific institutions
- Experience in academic self-administration at universities
- Very good English
- Fulfilment of the requirements of §100 of the Berlin Higher Education Act (BerlHG) for professors
