I am seeking an experienced Senior Planner on behalf of a leading Irish Main Contractor delivering major hyperscale Data Centre projects across Germany.
Salary: €90,000 – €110,000 DOE + Living Abroad Package.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established Main Contractor with a strong pipeline of large-scale Data Centre projects throughout Europe. You will play a key role in managing project programmes, monitoring progress and ensuring the successful delivery of complex construction projects, with excellent opportunities for long-term career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and maintain detailed construction programmes from pre-construction through to project handover.
- Prepare baseline programmes, monitor progress and produce regular planning and performance reports.
- Analyse critical path activities, identify programme risks and implement mitigation and recovery strategies.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Construction Managers and subcontractors to ensure programme targets are achieved.
- Lead planning meetings, programme reviews and look-ahead planning sessions.
- Monitor project milestones, procurement schedules and resource requirements.
- Support project controls, earned value reporting and programme optimisation.
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Planning role on major construction projects.
- Previous experience working on Data Centre or other large-scale mission-critical projects.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Excellent understanding of critical path analysis, progress reporting and programme management.
- Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience with a Main Contractor and working on European projects is advantageous.
