Responsibilities
Own the technical investigation of ETCS and Class B system incidents.
Drive root cause analysis of signalling system failures and operational events.
Manage technical interfaces with ETCS suppliers regarding issue resolution and product performance.
Lead operational analysis and testing activities required to resolve system issues.
Monitor system performance and identify recurring failure trends.
Support the continuous improvement of ETCS and Class B solutions throughout their operational lifecycle.
Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Railway Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
Alternatively, strong relevant professional experience in railway signalling, ETCS, testing, commissioning, or technical troubleshooting.
ETCS system knowledge, including architecture, interfaces, and operational behaviour are mandatory.
Knowledge of Class B train protection systems.
Railway signalling and system integration experience.
Technical investigation and root cause analysis skills.
Diagnostic data and log analysis capabilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Reliable and objective approach to technical investigations.
Very good English skills and German at least B2-level.
