Overview

As Associate Director, Client Management in Frankfurt, you coordinate end-to-end client journeys across onboarding, due diligence, credit fulfilment, and ongoing portfolio support. You act as a trusted partner among Relationship Managers, Product Partners, Operations, Risk, Legal, and Compliance to deliver seamless client service. You drive efficiency, governance, and compliant operations to ensure clients are ready to transact quickly. This role offers impact by shaping client experiences within a leading international bank and its CIB franchise.

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • Coordinate end-to-end client management activities across onboarding, due diligence, credit fulfilment, documentation, data maintenance, and offboarding
  • Manage client relationships and account health throughout the lifecycle
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Product Sales, Operations, Risk, Legal and Compliance to deliver high-quality service
  • Resolve client issues, handle escalations, and identify opportunities to improve the client experience
  • Support business growth by enabling clients to become transaction-ready efficiently in simple and complex scenarios
  • Drive execution excellence with first-time-right delivery and adherence to service standards
  • Oversee documentation negotiation and execution with stakeholders and clients
  • Support lending and credit-related activities including documentation reviews, facility setup, and collateral monitoring
  • Identify and resolve operational deficiencies impacting client outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, streamline, and automate processes for efficiency and scalability
  • Promote best practices and standardisation across Client Management
  • Support ongoing enhancement of the Client Management operating model and strategic initiatives

Zentrale Anforderungen

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking or related field
  • Experience in client service, corporate banking, financial services, onboarding, or client-facing operations
  • Strong client-focused mindset with ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset for practical solutions
  • Collaborative mindset across teams and levels of the organisation
  • Proactive, self-motivated with commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Understanding of risk, compliance, AML principles in financial services (or willingness to develop)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of client onboarding, lifecycle management, and KYC processes advantageous
  • Experience in Client Management, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Credit Operations or related financial services environment
  • Experience in international, multicultural, or matrix organisations is beneficial
  • Relevant certifications in Risk, Compliance, AML, or Banking Operations are an advantage or willingness to obtain them
