Our Origination Bankers assist clients in accessing financing solutions in loan, bond, and structured funding markets. They collaborate with senior client stakeholders across various markets and sectors, as well as with financing risk, banking and coverage relationship managers, financial markets sales, sustainable finance, credit risk, and other subject matter experts to structure these solutions.
They are responsible for delivering well-structured, return-enhancing, risk-optimized financing solutions to clients. A strong understanding of primary credit markets, industry developments relevant to their supported business line, fundamentals of valuation and risk assessment, and excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder influence skills are essential.

About Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB)
With over 170 years of experience, we support clients with transaction banking, financial markets, corporate finance, and borrowing needs, providing solutions to nearly 20,000 clients in the world\’s fastest-growing economies and active trade corridors.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure competitive solutions that meet financing risk standards.
- Provide valuation, financial, credit analysis, and pricing for financing solutions.
- Build a qualified, diverse pipeline to achieve short-term revenue goals while preparing for future growth, balancing large strategic mandates and less complex deals.
- Expand our network to reach new clients and sales opportunities.
- Develop a cross-functional Deals team with representation from Sales, Implementation, and Structuring, aligning on priorities and mandates.
- Partner with stakeholders across Banking and Coverage, Capital Markets, Credit Trading, Loan Origination, and Trading to identify target clients for credit services.
- Collaborate with senior risk and portfolio management stakeholders to ensure solutions are risk-optimized and return-enhancing.
Skills and Experience
- Strong business acumen, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Product knowledge in Markets and Transaction Banking.
- Experience in debt origination.
- Partnership management skills.
