Mission
As experienced event manager you will join our marketing and communication department. You are responsible for bringing all Stanley/Stella events to life: from concept to execution. Your recurring big rocks are the companies' annual trade fair attendance in several countries, the European sales meeting held every other month at our HQ, and supporting our sales team in the representation of the brand on smaller events. Of course, other additional events will also be your responsibility (e.g. 10 year celebration in 2022). You can count on our event coordinator to help you, also you work closely with colleagues from other departments such as digital, product development, etc.
Main responsibilities
- You innovate our event approach, new ideas and concept are well received
- You manage several event projects - with different delivery dates - in parallel
- You make comprehensive retro plannings and make sure everyone sticks to them
- You are responsible of your own budget and you make sure to keep a neat accounting overview according to our processes
- You coach the event coordinator and you divide and manage the workload in the team
- You make sure our events fit our brand values and have a premium outlook
- You independently gather information and requirements from your stakeholders, related to your projects
- You keep your stakeholders well informed
- You make agency briefings and coordinate the collaboration
- You bring structure in projects and you document your work
Your profile
- You have at least 5 years of experience in events and you can bring new ideas to the table
- You're a natural multitasker that can easily switch focus when needed
- You're good at planning and prioritizing, always keeping the end goal in mind
- You have experience managing a budget
- You have strong leadership and coaching skills
- You have a thing for sustainable fashion
- You're a self-starter, you take initiative and you are not afraid to ask questions
- You're a people person and a good communicator
- You have experience working with external agencies
- You are resilient and you can easily adapt to change
- You don't mind having to travel within Europe on occasions
- You're fluent in English, French is a plus
- Experience with international events is a plus
