About the Role
For a leading international developer and operator of large-scale energy storage projects, STAR Specialists is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Germany.
You will be responsible for managing projects from the contracting and engineering phase through construction, commissioning and handover.
You will take full ownership of project execution, coordinating EPC contractors, engineering teams and external stakeholders, ensuring safe delivery within budget, schedule and quality requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in complex industrial, energy or infrastructure projects and EPC projects.
- Demonstrated track record of independently managing large-scale CAPEX projects, with full accountability for budget, planning and execution.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, engineering contractors and external stakeholders.
- Strong technical understanding of civil, electrical and mechanical construction activities.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Professional proficiency in English. German language skills are a strong advantage.
- Experience with substations, BESS, large PV installations, data centres, power plants, energy infrastructure, industrial facilities or utility-scale renewable energy projects.
