Electronic Warfare Software Engineer

We design, develop and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are software‑defined, mass‑scalable, and cost effective, providing our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments.
Reporting directly to the Head of Electronic Warfare, the EW Software Engineer will help build the next generation of Electronic Warfare (EW) products powering STARK’s autonomous systems.
Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient C++ code as part of a high-performance software engineering team
- Develop essential algorithms and applications for signal processing in embedded environments
- Engage in full-stack development tasks, contributing across the software and hardware interface
- Troubleshoot and debug complex system issues
- Actively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to solve high-impact technical challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Aerospace, Telecommunications or related fields
- +5 years of experience working with software and hardware in relevant fields
- Strong proficiency in C++
- Interest and understanding of physics/ waveforms
- Previous exposure to signal processing and mathematical modeling
- Comfortable working across the software‑hardware boundary
- Previous work involving full-stack software engineering and/or RF systems
Nice to have
- Prior experience in Electronic Warfare (EW) or defense technologies
- Strong understanding of hardware integration and testing
- Hands‑on experience with Software Defined Radios (SDR), RF, or advanced signal processing
- Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary technical teams
