What you will do:

1. Management and development of our engineering team
2. Product development of hybrid earth-timber structures that align with our industrial production approach
3. Consultancy in the context of project enquiries for exciting national and international construction projects
4. Co-operation with external partners, suppliers and clients
5. Coordination with our certification experts on international product certificates
6. Exchange with universities and collaboration on research projects, as well as participation in conferences

What you bring to the role:

1. Degree in timber construction, civil engineering or a comparable qualification
2. 5+ years of professional experience in the field of timber construction, ideally in a managerial role
3. Additional expertise in fire- and/or sound-testing is a plus
4. Sound knowledge in the planning and realization of timber constructions
5. Experience in product development in the construction industry, especially in the field of sustainable building materials, is an advantage
6. Creative problem solver with an innovative spirit and an eye for detail
7. Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and lead a team
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills
9. Passion for sustainable construction methods and materials
